Sounds Damn Fine Revealed.

domalley_no_cars_go So finally I can reveal my image for the ‘Sounds Damn Fine’ screen print show held in Dublin last week. I picked Arcade Fire’s song ‘No Cars Go‘.

The show, organised by Damn Fine Print in Dublin, was of course, on the theme of favourite or iconic lyrics. I went for this tune because (A) I love it, the original EP version in particular, and (B) who could say no to drawing a car up a tree?

My daft reasoning being that if there is one place a car should definitely not go, is up  a large trunk and into some poor squirrel’s pad.

Thirty artist produced thirty prints for the sum of thirty euros, any that didn’t sell out that night, are available to buy online here.

Some amazing work at this show which I would be more than happy to own, well, all thirty of them.
