Damn Fine Print & Shore Shots Film Festival 2014

I was recently invited to take part in a special exhibition to coincide with a film festival in Dublin, Shore Shots 2014.

The good folk at Damn Fine Print asked me and a number of other illustrators and designers to create two colour images for screenprinting, which were then exhibited at the Lighthouse cinema in Dublin as part of the surf movie festival.

A bit of a rush job as I had to get the piece finished before I went to the Bologna book fair, but after just a tiny bit of procrastination, this was the image I settled on creating.

Originally the image I was going to do was mainly of the gigantic leviathan dragging  a ship beneath the waves, but decided I could make it more interesting by adding more elements to it.

The exhibition launched last saturday, where the prints were available to purchase also.

The remaining number of the limited edition prints are now available to buy online at Damn Fine Print’s site here. So if you like, then get in quickly!
